Gameball’s Family Wallet allows customers to link their loyalty accounts with family members or a group, combining all earned points into a single shared wallet. Everyone contributes to the same balance and any member can redeem from it — making it easier for groups to reach rewards faster.

How It Works for Customers

The Family Wallet guides customers through three steps: copy their invite link, share it with a family member, and start earning rewards together.

The Family Wallet is accessible from the Gameball widget. Customers find it on their profile home screen alongside their points balance, tier progress, and referral section.

When a customer shares their invite link, the invited member lands on an acceptance page where they enter their email or mobile number and click Accept Invitation.

Once confirmed, they see a success screen letting them know they have joined the Family Wallet.

Each invite link can only be used by one person. A new link is generated automatically after each use.

Family Wallet Roles

Every Family Wallet has two types of participants:

Parent (Family Owner)Invites members, removes members, deletes the wallet, views full combined points history
MemberEarns and redeems from the shared wallet, views own points history, can leave at any time
There is always one Parent per Family Wallet — the customer who created it. From your Gameball dashboard, you can transfer the Parent role to a different customer at any time.

Earning, Redeeming, and Viewing Points

Earning — Points earned by the Parent and all members across all Gameball programs and modules are combined into the shared wallet. Groups accumulate points faster than they would individually. Redeeming — Both the Parent and members can redeem from the combined wallet at any time, with no approval required from other members. Viewing the wallet — Each member can see their individual points alongside the combined family balance. The Parent sees the full activity history; members see only their own.

Enabling the Family Wallet

The Family Wallet is an add-on feature. Once purchased, you can enable it from your dashboard:

Go to Settings

In your Gameball dashboard, navigate to Settings.

Open the Customers section

Under Customers, locate the Family Wallet option.

Enable the feature

Click the toggle to enable Family Wallet for your customers.
Once enabled, customers can create and join Family Wallets directly from the widget.

Monitoring Family Wallets on Your Dashboard

From any customer profile in your Gameball dashboard, you can see that customer’s Family Wallet details — including total family points, the number of members, and each member’s role.

Important Notes

Maximum size: A Family Wallet can have a maximum of 10 members, including the Parent.
Parent account deletion: If the Parent’s account is deleted, the entire Family Wallet is deleted. All members revert to standard individual accounts and their points are no longer pooled.
Changing the Parent: If you need to transfer ownership to a different customer, a dashboard admin can make that change directly from the customer profile.

Common Questions

No. Each customer can belong to only one Family Wallet at a time, either as a Parent or as a Member.
The member’s account reverts to an individual account. Points they earned while in the Family Wallet remain in the shared wallet and are not returned to them.
Yes. Both the Parent and members can redeem from the combined wallet at any time without requiring approval from one another.
The Family Wallet is deleted and all members revert to standard individual accounts.
The Family Wallet is an add-on feature. Contact Gameball support to add it to your plan.
